Life

Life Insurance is the foundation of your family’s financial security. Alpha Omega can provide the best life insurance plan to fit your needs. A well thought-out life insurance package can protect your financial assets against the uncertainties of life so you can protect your family’s future.

Many people think that life insurance is only for those with families. While it is true that life insurance can help provide for the needs of dependents when you pass away, it’s also important for someone starting out – or for someone who’s starting over.

Term Life Insurance

Term Life Insurance is generally the least expensive and least complicated type of life insurance. It provides insurance protection at a low cost for a specified period of time, such as 1, 10 or 20 years. If you die within the term period, a death benefit is paid to your beneficiary. If you are still living at the end of the term, protection ceases unless the policy is renewed. There is no cash value with term insurance.

Permanent Life Insurance

Permanent Life Insurance provides protection for your family and the means to provide for goals like education or retirement. Permanent life insurance policies can build cash value that you can borrow against and, in some instances, withdraw to help meet future goals, such as paying for a child’s college education.

Permanent life insurance policies enjoy positive tax treatment. Cash value growth is generally on a tax-deferred basis, meaning that you pay no taxes on any earnings in the policy so long as the policy remains in force. And money can be taken out of the policy without having to pay taxes, since policy loans generally are not considered taxable income, and withdrawals generally can be taken up to the amount of premiums paid without being taxed.

The two general types of permanent life insurance policies are whole life and universal life.

Survivorship Life Insurance

Survivorship Life insures two individuals and provides a life insurance benefit after the death of the last surviving insured. Survivorship policies can be whole life, universal life, or variable universal life.
