Purchasing a home is often the single largest financial investment an individual or family ever makes. Along with your investment value, home ownership carries with it a potential risk of financial loss from unpredictable events such as fire, windstorm damages, theft of personal property, and lawsuits from an injured person.

Homeowners can protect themselves against all of these losses by purchasing homeowners insurance. Alpha Omega can also provide the coverage that you need for any vacation or rental properties, including fire insurance.

We will work with you to make sure you have the right insurance coverage to protect your property.

Homeowners Policy Basics

Your Dwelling

Coverage for the dwelling you reside in extends to any attached structures, such as a deck or garage and to any detached structures at your residence, such as a garage, shed, barn, swimming pool, fences, etc. This does not include land or the dwelling’s foundation.

Personal Property

This protects your general household belongings against loss by a broad range of perils. Items can include furniture, clothing, appliances and other personal possessions. Alpha Omega can provide a Valuable Property Endorsement to cover the high value items that are not fully covered under standard homeowners insurance.

Loss of Use

In the event you are required to leave your home as a result of a covered property loss, your policy will cover you for many additional expenses, which may include hotel or meals.

Personal Liability

Personal Liability protects you against financial loss if you are found legally responsible for someone else’s injury or property damage. Alpha Omega can recommend a Personal Umbrella Insurance which will provide additional coverage.

Medical Payments

If a visitor is injured in or around your home your policy will pay for the medical expenses incurred by that person.
